"Anzac Heroes" was my second book to be published. The illustrations required using black and white portrait photos as reference and creating full body, realistically illustrated and historically accurate scenes for each subject.
At the 2016 "New Zealand Children’s Book Awards", it received the award for "Best Non Fiction" and the "Margaret Mahy Book of The Year" award.
