Hey there I'm Marco, a New Zealand freelance artist/ illustrator working out of Wellington, New Zealand. I have been working as an illustrator since 2010. Over that time I have illustrated eight published books dealing in New Zealand history with writer Maria Gill. This includes the award winning “ANZAC Heroes” which won the “Margaret Mahy Book of the Year” at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children & Young Adults in 2016, as well as the Nonfiction Award.
I have also been nominated for and received awards for my illustration work, and I have worked on book covers, album covers and videogames including “Battle to the Beehive”
